Ljubljana has many faces, some permanent, some in constant change.
One of the most noted images is central Prešern Square and the pinkish Franciscan Church overlooking the square. Most of the images have green trees, but on a snowy day the square turns totally white. It shines blue under Christmas lights. Bright yellow dominates in short period and right after those yellow leaves fall from poplar, the square bows down before pinkish facade that turns red in autumn sun. |
